Why Choose Us?

Why Choose the UW Medicine Accountable Care Network?
The UW Medicine Accountable Care Network brings together the skills, services and geographic reach of exceptional healthcare organizations throughout the Puget Sound region to offer high-quality, affordable healthcare to PEBB benefit-eligible members and their families living in Grays Harbor, King, Kitsap, Pierce, Skagit, Snohomish and Thurston counties.
The most comprehensive healthcare network in the Puget Sound region
We offer the most comprehensive range of services available within a single network, from preventive and primary care to advanced specialty care.
You will have access to:
Primary care providers
Urgent care clinics
The UW Medicine Accountable Care Network offers access to some of the most specialized hospitals and care centers in the nation, including Seattle Children’s Hospital, Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital and the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA), a world-class cancer treatment center that is a partnership between UW Medicine, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and Seattle Children’s Hospital.
High-quality care that is more affordable for you
Our goal is to keep patients healthy by focusing on prevention: identifying and treating health issues early, before they become a bigger problem. Greater coordination of care between physicians and healthcare professionals results in the best outcomes for patients.
Cost savings to you include lower monthly health plan premiums. In addition, your out-of-pocket costs for visiting a primary care physician (PCP) and for generic prescription drugs will also be lower.
Fast appointments for primary and specialty care
You can count on timely access to primary care providers and specialists.
- Same- or next-day appointments for primary care
- Walk-in availability for urgent care at more than 71 sites
A coordinated care team – including easy referrals to specialists
Physicians and healthcare professionals work as an integrated team coordinating information to ensure you receive the best care possible. This approach emphasizes shared decision-making about your preventive health and any chronic or acute health conditions that may require coordinating with multiple specialists.
Access is easy with a 24/7 virtual clinic and a nurse care line
UW Medicine Accountable Care Network Virtual Clinic
The UW Medicine ACN Virtual Clinic is available at no cost, any time of the day or night, seven days a week.
During a virtual clinic visit, a board-certified family practice doctor or nurse practitioner provides assessment and treatment for many simple urgent care issues over the phone or through a webcam on your smartphone or computer from the convenience of your home or work. Visits typically last about 20 minutes. The virtual clinic provider can recommend home care options, suggest over-the-counter treatments, arrange a prescription, and help you find a convenient pharmacy. A virtual clinic provider will also help you decide whether you need to see a doctor, go to an urgent care clinic or emergency room for more serious problems. 24-Hour Nurse Care Line
You can speak with a specially trained registered nurse 24 hours a day, seven days a week and get immediate, professional advice about health questions. Our nurses will help you decide whether you need to see a doctor, go to an urgent care clinic or emergency room or care for yourself at home.
